We did homemade caramel. You could do jam, candy, honey, sauce (sweet or savory), dried spices… Even little meringues would be cute!

@Bridgetak23:  those are almost the exact size of jar that DH’s cousin used for their favors. They filled them with pastel m&ms, but I think jam would work well too 🙂

We are doing our signature steak spice as our wedding favours, Fiance and I created the recipe together and we host a LOT of dinner parties so to us it made sense. Is there a favorite treat that you and your Fiance have? If so maybe you could fill your jars with that.

My friend just had cake in a jar (delicious as hell with frosting and everything) at her wedding. They didn’t have a cake, so they told people they could eat them as part of their dessert, or take them for the road.  Soooo yummy.
