Yes! We are doing favors - I've included what they are in a post below.

No. People leave their favors most of the time anyways.

Maybe? We haven't figured this out yet!

I think I’m leaning towards roasted almonds from a local vendor in the town I’m getting married in.  Edible favors might be more enjoyable to guest.

Honestly- I dont think anybody has a need for these anymore. I cringe at wasting the money on favors when I could spend it elsewhere. I’ve thought about a candy bar- but the labor involved is scaring me off!

We are doing wine stoppers (to go with our personalized wine bottles that will be provided to each table) and little boxes with Mackinac Island fudge (since we will get married on the Island).

For children we are having a special favor/game all in one 🙂

We are also doing welcome bags for all of our guests.

I’m doing wine for favours, making it ourselves at a local DIY wine place. It’s only about $2 a person and if there are leftovers I won’t mind!

Also doing a donation- nothing else would be in our budget and would make all guests happy!

We’re making fudge, it’s one of our all time favourite treats so we thought it was very appropriate to give out. And we’ll be DIYing the boxes/bags they’ll be going in. We might DIY some scratchcards for 10pounds at iTunes or something and place them in a fishbowl and then add them to the guestbook table for people to pick up if they’re feeling lucky as well.

We provided chocolate and chopsticks to all of the guests since most of the people that came were Asian.  We wanted to get something practical that they could use all the time.

We were going to do a photo booth, but it’s too expensive, especially since most of our crowd will be older and probably not silly enough to enjoy it fully.

We have awhile to decide, but I think we’re definitely going to do a candy buffet.  We’ll also probably do little personalized mint tins.

We’re doing homemade mini-struedels and poticas (Slovenian Nut Roll) to incorporate my FI’s family heritage. Plus it get my FI’s family involved since they are the ones who know how to make it!

We are not doing favors! I won’t do a non-food favor because people end up leaving them or throwing them away and I don’t want to do a food favor because I am already spending thousands of dollars to give my guests a great meal and an open bar!

The more I think about it the more I think favors are a waste.  Aside from the few I actually like, i.e…the birdfeed heart is awesome and people will put it outside.  Too cute.

We were going to do favors and a candy bar but I think we’re going to save that money and just do the candy bar.
