The edible ones are my favorite, good for a snack after the wedding. As for the rest, eh. Save your money.

We’re doing welcome bags instead of favors. I’ve never really kept a wedding favor from any wedding I’ve been to, and I hate spending money on unnecessary and/or wasteful things!

We did scratch tickets for favors (because it’s a bad habit we both love 🙂 But what’s neat about that is our friend who traveled the furthest via car won $100. Just in case people didn’t win, we had cupcakes (same ones we served for wedding cake) in to-go boxes (with labels showing flavors) all stacked up in a pyramid near the way out. We encouraged people to take them home for family and friends. For my friends that had little ones waiting at home especially, it was a much appreciated gift–a lot of people ate them as a snack back in their rooms.
