Fi is Spanish and I’m British. Wedding will be in Spain.
We’ve thought of maybe giving everyone chupachups as it’s a Spanish lolly, with a moustache attached to the lolly stick for the men and some lips for the women. We thought maybe it would create some fun photos. Then we thought of also including some love hearts, as they’re a British sweet. We could even personalise the wrapper. What do you think?
I would like to have both items in a little bag and maybe a little note to go with them. Does anyone have an idea of what we can write on the note?

Cute! As long as the women don’t end up with moustaches lol.

Cute – can’t go wrong with food!

I think that’s a great idea. I’d been looking at personalised love hearts myself.

love edible favors, especially ones that don’t expire asap (e.g. i gave donuts and they didn’t go over well because well.. probably most ppl didnt want a donut right then and there! Hard candy lasts in purses for ages.)

Love them!! I like anything that can result in good photo opportunities!

For the note…

Edible favors always a good idea. I would absolutely be the spoilsport who wouldn’t eat her lollipop without removing the stupid props first (I also feel like an idiot in photobooths though, so hopefully it’s just me!). Maybe instead of gluing, you can just slide them on?

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Yes I was thinking of only sliding the props on. However, our friendship group would definitely be up for the props. They are all about the props and photo booths, haha.

Most Chupa Chups are safe for vegans and vegetarians as well (the fruit and cola ones) so that makes them an inclusive choice. As a vegan I often have to leave favours behind so would be really happy to find them on the table.

I think it’s a cute idea.

I think these are a great idea. Plus super easy to just throw in your purse for later.
