I would like to see what everyone is doing for favors! We are thinking about choosing one of several things:
1. Candy Apples
2. Cookies with our Initials
3. A keepsake photo (acheived by a photographer taking pics upon entry into the reception space–printed on site and framed for guests to take with them before they leave).

My wedding is Chocolate theme, so I am trying to come up with something that people will love. I have a friend that makes Chocolate Scented Bath Salts so that might be a winner

We have decided that a candy buffet would be best. We are going for 75 pounds of candy for our 150 person wedding.

These are mine! They are kinda of pricey, especially since I want a set for each guests…but I love them and think they are perfect!

We are having a destination wedding so instead of favors we are doing welcome bags.. For our 35 guests, the bags and contents total about $25 per person. We really wanted to do something special for each one of our guests for flying to Jamaica and staying at the resort 🙂

I’m doing candy favors w/ bride groom boxes. As well as ribbion wands, bubbles, and bottled water with maybe our pic and the wedding date and stuff on the labels.

My wedding will be in Louisiana so we are planning activites for the guest. For the reception we are doing it small since it is a destination for us. But we thought instead of doing the traditional favors we wanted people to celebrate us so we are going what we like. Since my fiance is a big fan of chinese food we will be using white chinese takeout boxes and wrapped them in silver ribbon. On the inside we will have a combination of our favorite candy. And also since we both love 70’s music we are making a cd of our favorite musice and putting a label on it with our pic and wedding date.

My Fiance and I are big snackers so we are doing a cookie bar as favors. We plan to party late into the night so around midnight a cookie or brownie will hit the spot!

I cut out fabric pieces and put Starburst candy in them, and tied them with a ribbon. They were super cute! I even put them at the table so people would take them. But we had a lot left over. Oh well 🙂

I think I am leaning towards the pictures because I do not want a bunch of favors left over. Plus they can double a guest scrapbook for me too!
My Fiance had a great idea too–wine glasses–nothing with our wedding date and names but something people can actually use and call their own. It will say someting simple like ‘with love”….

@ReginaH:I’m doing the keepsake photo as well! GO US!! What I was going to do is family pics not individual pics with the guest but I really think that will take to much time, we have to be out of the venue by 12, and also I’ll get tired smiling..lol…
So what I was thinking was when we go and do our pics after the wedding the other photographer will come along and take a pic of us and let him print those instead.
How are you doing yours and are you using the paper frames or are you buying frames? Our pics will be 4×6
We are also doing a candy bar and a CD of love songs

@Ms.Blutiful:So you guys won’t be in the pic with them? I was thinkging as they were going into the reception for us to do it them…Will check out the frames but I don’t want it to expensive cause i’m sure nonfamily members will take the pic out and stick it in an album…thx
