I was planning my making my favors. I was going to do a lot of baking. I’m probably still going to bake, and it can be used as a favor too. But my main favor is a donation to cancer research on their behalf. Cancer affects our family unfortunately, so this seems like the perfect thing.

i have two favors. DIY round fans  and then jordan  almonds. The fans I made myself from scratch. The almonds i bought [obviously!] and I bought pillow boxes from micheals but the still need to be filled and assembled.

I’m going to have a candy buffet with pretty paper bags that everyone can take their candy home in. I know it’s been done a lot but the immediate family on both sides has never seen one at a wedding yet so they think it’ll be neat!

I love the birdseed idea.  That sounds like it would be simple and quick to DIY.

We were doing a spring theme with birds and butterflys as accents.  I found some bird shape tea light candles at the craft store on clearance that we will use for favors.  We are doing a DIY project as well.  We plan on making a little “newspaper” flyer on legal size paper to place at each seat.  It will have our engagment story, marital advice from close relatives, maybe a wedding crossword etc.  I think we are going to age the paper too.

I don’t think I’m having them.  I’m doing welcome bags and the majority of guests are out of town, plus I can’t think of anything I liked. I did toy with the idea of little potted plants that double as escort cards, but decided against them.

I refuse to DIY anything. I’m sure I could make something beautiful, but I don’t have the patience to do things myself… I want to see the finished product almost immediately 🙂

My Future Mother-In-Law wants me to have a candy bar as a favor… which means I would have to actually put together some fun containers and buy the right amount of candy, etc. That to me, is close enough to DIY and I still don’t want to do it!

I am not very creative so I am going to buy my favors.  It is actually one of the first things I picked! I am going to give pizza cutters – They come in a pizza box and then they are white with black writing that says “a slice of love” and have red hearts (my wedding colors are red/black/silver/white).  It also goes with my food – I am having gourment pizza 🙂

Anyone ever receive a pizza cutter as a wedding favor?

I’ve never recieved a pizza cutter.  That sounds pretty unique and fits your theme very well.

I bought luggage tags for everyone, but customized them with each guest’s initials so I think that counts as half bought/half DIYed. It worked well because we had a Destination Wedding. I like your idea 🙂

I’m having a photo booth, so that will provide the favors!
