This could be interesting…..
This could be interesting…..
I really like it- but look forward to all of the “How dare they!?!” Status updates
Im kinda scared and excited at the same time lol
Hahaha same here! I have so many friends across the country and that’s the easiest way to keep in touch.
This sucks. I typically don’t whine about Facebook changes, but come on! I got Facebook as a freshman in college, and I’m so different now! It’s like having your high school yearbook put on a slideshow that everyone in your life can now see. Sigh.
I think I’ll just keep shifting toward Google+. Hopefully more people do the same. Facebook is about to become an embarassing experience :(.
I was engaged to someone else when I started my fb… I can’t WAIT to see all those old posts… lol -.- We had such a bad messy end that’s buried somewhere in fb land.
@HappilyEverAfter54: Oh, that’s terrible! 🙁 This is seriously a stupid move on Facebook’s part. I feel like the world should call in a sickday when it comes out so we call all delete everything.
Have you guys heard about Diaspora? It’s another new social network that looks pretty cool.
I LOLed at this line in the article–“Facebook will know you better than you know yourself.”
@jo.lee: Just looked it up… looks interesting. I knew once they started making fb more public than it already was someone would make one that was more like it’s starting days. I might have a few accounts different places until something feels right but like I said I think I’m too addicted to leave fb. Well unless the change makes me cry… then I’m gone! If I write “picking up my wedding flowers” and it brings a post from my past… I’ll delete in right then
Yuck. I’m deleting my account.
So… Darling Husband just changed his profile to the new updated one and it’s not that bad.
It is VERY different but not like that other changes they’ve made where they just seem stupid. lol
You can only see the new profile if you’re a developer too BUT here are a few pics so you can get an idea!
I’ll probably be changing soon.
Here’s when you click on the profile… you have a top pic that you choose.. you actually scroll down and everything is on like an actual timeline
On the top of this one you can see that you are now in Septmember on the timeline
Scroll down some more and you get to our Wedding!
When we got engaged…. And then also take note of the top right corner… this is where you can choose what year you’d like to go to in the timeline
All the way back to birth.. just like it said in the article
See… it’s not that bad… and you can pick and choose what you want to highlight on the timeline. =)
I hate it. I read in one article that certain things you will no longer be able to keep private.
I dont mind the changes to FB pages I just HATE that they are constantly changing privacy options.
