I saw quite a few people on this forum asked about how “yellow” a moissanite is, and I happened to own a Forever Brilliant 9mm moissanite ring (ordered from Kobelli). In my honest experience, FB moissanite is too yellow-ish or green-ish for my liking. These pics were taken on a cloudy day to compare with my 2 ct E color round brilliant GIA cert. diamond ring. I have an F RB diamond ring as well, but I picked this one as it is higher in color grade of diamonds. Hope it helps some of you who wonder how different a FB moissanite is to a diamond. I’m only comparing the color though. I admit I DO like the way a moissanite fires/sparkles.
*edit because typo (E color diamond should be *higher* in grade than F color, was saying it is *lower* in original post)

Well, a FB is not sold as colourless. It is sold as near colourless (so slightly tinted G/H/I). A Forever One on other hand is colourless at D/E/F (and Amora Gems are also typically colourless). So I am not sure point of comparison as of course the colour will be different. If you compared your E diamond to an H or I diamond…the H or I would also look more tinted than the E.

Here are a few pictures of a E color diamond next to an I color diamond. The I is the bigger one (2.7 carat vs. 2 carat).

Apologies for not having taken pictures of all 3 rings together. The I color diamond is my sister’s, so I just randomly “borrowed” it from her to take some quick snap shots as I was wearing my Engagement Ring.
