hey! I am so glad that you posted this. I am not doing to well this week but not awful either. Too Much Information..it is that special time and it makes it a little tough. I refuse to weight myself this week but as of Friday I had lost 4lbs!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ How are you?

I’ve actually gained a pound since last week… fail. But I was back in the gym this morning.

@UrbanAlaskan: its ok! just move forward from it ๐Ÿ™‚ I have not been able to get to the gym…I have been too lazy! I really need to get back into it!!!!!!! What kind of work outs do you do? I dont like going to the gym…I like to work out at home but I am getting bored with my routine.

Glad you started this thread up!  I was looking yesterday and didn’t see anything.  This week . . .eh so far.  Although I did get down to a 1 number on Saturday so that was good.  Of course it went back up shortly thereafter, haha.  Oh well. 

The biggest workout I got this weekend was giving the dog a bath.  No joke, I don’t know what it was about the dog bath, maybe the position I was in leaning over the tub but my bootie and thighs were so sore the next day! I’m sure the dogs will love it if I start giving them baths all the time to tone my glutes, haha.

@bestbuddies: Thanks! I’ve been really into rowing and elliptical lately — my dress really emphasizes my arms and I want to get them toned up, so I need to get back into some weight training as well. If I can get out of bed early enough, I’ll spend two hours at the gym — it’s the getting there that’s hard! I belong to a gym that has a women-only location, which I LOVE. It’s so friendly and low-key, and there are no oily guys in muscle shirts hogging the leg press machine. ๐Ÿ™‚ There’s an Aqua Zumba class I want to try, too.

@UrbanAlaskan: Aqua Zumba! that sounds awesome…let me know how it is. I really miss my morning spinning and body blast class I used to take (I moved). I worked out when I got home tonight so I feel better that I did that-especially after what I ate today :(. 

 

Does anyone here walk on their lunch break? If so, how do you deal with sweating in your work clothes? I wear skirts and hose most days and I am not sure how well this will work. I already get sweaty on my commute but I am afraid I will really scare my co workers if I add another sweat fest in the middle of the day. ๐Ÿ™‚ Just wondering…

I used to walk on my lunch break before I went back to school, I don’t really have any good suggestions for you though. I’m sure you’ve thought of packing a t-shirt to change into and bringing some deodorant to help you feel better. Also I don’t know about you but when it’s hot out my face can get pretty red so I always feel better after I wash my face.  

And also, aqua zumba does sound awesome.

Sorry I didnt start a new post Monday; I’ve been unbelievably sick and didnt move from the couch. haha     I have lost 2 more lbs though!! Bringing my total to 51lbs! Woop-woop!  

How’s everyone else doing?

Anyone else getting discouraged from the lack of “members” posting here? My really only motivation is when I know someone else is succedding on their weight loss goals. If I think/know people are slacking then I will slack! lol

Where is all the original people? Anyone want to do a more frequent check in with me?
