That top part is a strapless bra thing that David’s Bridal sells.  It doesn’t come with the slip.  As far as the fitting of the slip, I can’t help there.  Sorry

The petticoat is too small for you, if the elastic is not sitting right. The top part is not a part of the slip- but a seperate undergarment.

I would rent a slip from the place you purchased your bridal gown in AUS.

@knight.keira: I used that petticoat when trying on dresses at David’s Bridal, and it is supposed to be pulled up right under your bust. It wasn’t very comfortable, but yeah….

And also like PP’s have said the other is a long line bra. If you want to order one Vic Secret has them, as well as David’s Bridal. I’m sure a lingerie shop near you would also carry them.

Can they cut the top off and sew the bottom of into the dress?  Then you won’t have to worry about it and won’t be uncomfortable.

The slip does come up under the boobs and it is a really snug fit.

@knight.keira: I got my bra from Ebay, I am normally a 38, and I did get a 40, and it fits me perfectly, and I LOVE it! Here is the user “Thecorsetcorner”. It was cheap, and works just like the more expensive ones. I hope that helps you, and Good Luck!!

Yep, I concur. I also have the David’s fit and flare, and it comes up to right under the bust. I plan on wearing one Felina’s seamless bustier (similar to David’s pictured one) with it as well – both the bustier and slip are definitely snug, and I know they’re not going anywhere! Sorry it’s not what you were hoping to hear!
