The champagne dress is very lovely.  I do think the lace will not be as visible once layered ontop of ivory.

The lace probably won’t be as visible on ivory but it won’t be invisible either. I tried on my dress in champagne as well but I ended up ordering an ivory because I wanted a more subtle look with the lace.

This isn’t your dress but it’s a similar Allure – you can see the difference champagne vs ivory will make in terms of being able to see the lace. You can still see that it’s there, it’s just more subtle.

ETA: I do think the champagne color is just lovely with your skin tone. Personally, if you love the dress I don’t think it matters what color it is, when you look back in 10, 15, 20 years you’ll just remember how much you loved the dress and how happy you were that day.

I love the color too! But I understand wanting a lighter color too. The lace wont be as noticeable, but it may be worth the trade off if your vision has always been a whiter color. I think you can’t go wrong either way. It looks gorgeous on you!

I seriously love that dress on you in champagne. I say go for the champagne!

Can’t go wrong with either color, but I think ivory would be lovely on you.  Sorry not much help.
