I’ve been to several weddings there, the food is definately some of the best in the area. It’s also very pretty, there is a view of the mountains in the back where you can have your ceremony, plus tons of gardens and a pond around the property. Plus, if it rains, they can hold your ceremony inside. I would get married there if one of my close friends didn’t. I’m thinking either the Garrison or Mohonk Mountain house.

Hi there, I have worked a wedding, as a photog assistant there. I loved it. The grounds are lovely, lots of flowers and details for great photos. The food was delicious. The staff are incredible. It’s a bit far away from hotels (you’ll need to rent transportation for guests for you serve alcohol).

The couple had an outdoor ceremony and the weather was perfect. The indoor decor is also very elegant.

The dance floor is different, but I think it photographed, but your vendor must have great lighting equipment. And make sure you don’t skimp on the DJ. you’ll be relying on him to get the party started.

Hi, I’ve done weddings there and they have always been on top of their game.  The staff members know their jobs and do them well.  The location is beautiful and the food is spectacular.  They offer Food Tastings every month.  You’ll need to check, but the tastings used to be at no charge.  It is definitely worth the time to go and try the food and meet with them.  The dance floor is located next to the dining area.  It is in an adjoining room, not fully separate, but there are walls.  This can be an issue for some brides.  Also, make sure your photographer has good lighting equipment and that your DJ is comftorable with the location.  I have heard from some DJ’s that the separate rooms have casued them problems.  Like with any vendor check references, get a contract and ask your location for recommendations.  Have fun!
