No, i do not plan on wearing one hahaha I was just wondering what everyone’s opinion is on this idea i have… i am having white ostrich feathers in my bouquet as well as a little in my two front altar centerpeices (just a few pieces) Anyways here is a photo of the head of the ceremony area where i will be getting married. See right above the guy standing ups head where the canopy starts and there is that unsightly gray/black wire thing? i was wondering if it would look ok if i got a couple white boas and rapped them around it to camoflague it or drapped it along that edging were the canopy starts. Or do you think it will start to look like a freakin circus and just look tacky? I know there is a real fine line whe using feathers at a wedding when it becomes full on tacky!

I didn’t notice it until you pointed it out. Even then, it’s not that noticeable. I would just leave it as is. If worse comes to worse, have the photographer crop or even edit it out of photos. But hopefully your guests will have other thing to focus their attention on like oh, say…you and your groom!

I don’t really like boas – I would rather put some ivy or something up there. To be honest, I didn’t even notice that area until you pointed it out, I just looked at that amazing view!

I agree wtih @Miss Apricot. I didn’t even notice them until you pointed them out. So, they’ll likely blend well — especially because you have ostrich feathers in your bouquet.

I agree with PP. I didn’t see the wire until you pointed it out. I also don’t care for boas. I think they have had their heyday but I would rather have the wire than a boa. Sorry!
