@stargurl101:

Wedding Date: 2/11/12

Theme: I don’t really have a theme. Bright colors, a bit of water colors, fun and sparkly is what I have.

Colours: Peacock Blue, Emerald Green, orange -with/ivory/silver/gold accents

Venue: Crocker Art Museum Ballroom (it’s an old victorian house converted into a museum. this goes with your Victorian Winter Romance theme, maybe I’ll steal it. πŸ˜› )

Unique Details: We are in a museum and our table numbers are little handpainted canvas’ I painted with my sister.

How are you incorporating the winter season if at all?: Lots of candles (fake because of the venue) darker colors with frosty metalic accents. I’m wearing a cardigan over my dress. Other than that not really. I realllly want a fur capelet thing but it’s not really cold enough here to justify that.

FUN!

Wedding Date: 2/19/12

Theme: 1920’s glamour/speakeasy vibe

Colours: Blush, grey, gold, silver…

Venue: The Altman Building in NYC

Unique Details: Got a lot of incredible vintage furniture from a prop warehouse in NYC — old leather chesterfield sofa, some deco cocktail tables, and a massive oak bar…

How are you incorporating the winter season if at all?: The room where the ceremony is being held will feel very wintery–lots of white!  And my dress is pretty heavily textured with silver detailing…

We aren’t. Infact, being from Canada we are trying to get as far away from it as possible. I guess to ‘ stretch’ things… you could replace snowflakes for starfish πŸ˜‰
