jejangles :  FX for a good appointment!

I had to change my first OB appointment from 8+3 until I’m 10 weeks due to Hubby’s work schedule. He wants to be there, so more waiting. Hoping we can schedule our next scan after that appointment though.

There are some times that I feel pregnant, but mostly I’m still cautiously excited, I’m still just terrified something will happen even though I know statistically we have a great chance. Good heartbeat, good location, no bleeding or cramping, but hey, life isn’t fair lol. I’m just trying to manage my worry and not let it eat away at me. I’m slowly starting to be happy and excited more so than nervous and anxious.

Almost 9 weeks, and it’s still so surreal!

My OB appointments appointment went well! She was very reassuring about the fibroid, said growth in the first tri is totally normal and it should settle down moving forward. She is also not concerned about it pressing on my ureter / kidneys at all, said she sees it all the time in pregnancy and not to worry. My OB is a specialist in fibroids so I trust her opinion! She also said her last few pregnant fibroid patients have had no issues, so hopefully I’ll follow that trend.

i will have to have monthly scans to track baby’s growth and see what the fibroid is doing. Next one is the genetic screening scan at the end of July!

ColoradoGirl :  Yeah, no kidding! I’m feeling pretty okay! I’m 10w3d today and have only felt very tired and hungry. My symptoms haven’t been bad at all and I’m so thankful. We had our first ultrasound a couple weeks ago and baby was measuring on time with a heart rate of 169. Very excited! Have you had an appointment yet? I can’t remember when you said that is in your roll call.

MsPlucky :  I feel you on the anxiety! I am getting more and more used to the idea that I am pregnant, but I know I will be nervous for my next scan even though my last one was very positive with a strong heartbeat. My friends tell me everything feels a lot more real once you can feel the baby moving, so I am looking forward to that!

jejangles :  Exactly! When I can feel every day I’m pregnant, I think it’ll be easier to trust in it. Right now, I anxiously wait for the next twinge, or sore boobs to “prove” again I am. Ugh!

9 weeks tomorrow, so maybe time will pass a bit more quickly. Hoping we get a 12 week scan…

tm6173 :  That’s so great to hear. I bet you are excited! Since I had an ectopic, I went in for a scan at 5 weeks and one at 7 weeks. All looked good and heartrate was 161 at 7 weeks. I think this one is a girl. I barely had any pregnancy symptoms with DS and while mine are probably still very mild, I do feel worse than I did with DS. I had my physical on Wednesday and scheduled my 12 week scan for August 8th. So we’re on cruise control for the next four weeks. Feels good to finally get to the routine stuff!

Hey ladies!!! Just wanted to say a big congrats.  I’m a February 2016 Mama and my dude is 17 months this week 🙂  Walking, talking, and FULL of personality.  February is a great month for a baby and while you may have to buy more clothes, it’s kind of nice to be pregnant in the winter and not dying of heat in the summer at 9 months!

Picture just cuz he’s cute.  My guy is 100th percentile and well above avg size, so don’t judge what to expect by him lol.  Bigger than most 2 year olds!

Hey ladies! I made a separate post, but I’m wondering if you guys have a Facebook group for Feb 2018 babies?? I just found out I’m 9 weeks pregnant two days ago so I’m a little late to the party 😂

I would also be up for joining the FB group! I wanted to wait until I was a little further along, but now I’m 11 weeks and feeling more comfortable with it all.

I was feeling a lot better last week, less tired and nauseous, but I seem to have regressed over the week-end. Lots of nausea, no energy, I’m hoping this is a temporary set-up on the road to feeling better. I also threw up for the first time of this pregnancy, in the evening while brushing my teeth. Luckily all I had to throw up was some water I had just drank!

jejangles :  let me know if you find out about the group! I was directed to message @redwine13 as she’s the admin of the group apparently but haven’t heard anything yet.

Glad you’re feeling more confident in your pregnancy now! Just a week until you can relax a bit more! 😊

How far along are you?  10 weeks 4 days

What is your estimated due date? Feb 27

What baby # is this? If all goes well this will be first baby to be carried to term. Lost first baby, a boy at 18.5 weeks last year.

How many cycles trying? We really tried for 3 cycles I think after the MC

When did you get your BFP? July 3

Who have you told? My parents and DH’s parents

When do you plan on telling more people? Not for as long as we can. We are very nervous and cautious because of what happened last time. Since I am classified high risk I will have a lot of apointments and scans. Will probably have to tell work.

How did you tell your partner? We looked at the test together. The news is both of ours.

Any symptoms yet? Severe nausea, very tired, a few cravings (frozen mashed bananas anyone?)

What are you most excited about? Seeing DH being a Dad. To reach the ‘safe’ zone in the pregnancy.

When is your first appt? Already had it – everything was fine!

Are you planning on finding out the baby’s gender? We don’t plan on fining out baby’s sex –  want a surprise!
