i have 48 days, it seems so soon! we’re realizing that we’re having more guests than we originally thought, so i’m busy getting more centerpieces, table numbers, etc.

Woohoo! I’m not a Feb bride, but I’m the Maid/Matron of Honor for someone who is! I spend a few hours today helping her finish invitations, and later this week we’re going to work on the Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets. I’m so excited for her! πŸ™‚

Another Feb 27th bride here! πŸ™‚

We’re receiving RSVPs and I’ve finished designing the programs/menu cards/table names and need to print them out. I also need to schedule my third (and final!) dress fitting and then pick up my dress. We also have to buy our plane tickets (wedding is in Puerto Rico), but fiance’s in charge of doing that…

It’s funny, because I’ve been on the mindset of “almost everything is done and ready” and then yesterday I was talking with my Maid/Matron of Honor (who got married a year and a half ago) and she started asking me all these questions — have you written your vows? ARE you writing your own vows or not? have you outlined the ceremony? what’s on the schedule for the reception? are you doing a receiving line? what’s your first dance song? who’s doing the speeches? etc etc etc — and I was just like “uh… uh… uh…” because we haven’t done ANY of those things! So here I thought we’re clear on the home stretch when in reality there’s all these things left to do that I hadn’t thought about!! O_O

Oh my goodness we’re 23 days away!! SO exciting and equally as stressful πŸ™‚

Right now our big issue is that we’re having a Super Bowl party the day after the wedding and invited 50 people and only 3 (!!!!!) have RSVP’d!! I mean for real, how difficult is it to send an email! Good Lord! πŸ™‚

@mikan. i’d rather be in your situation! i wanted a small wedding, a lot of the invites were sent out because my fi and mom both said, “they won’t come.” and now they’re coming.

@azula- i felt the same way! i thought i did everything and we were pretty much finished, then all of a sudden we went to visit the venue and rental place and for some reason, i remembered that i was forgetting so much!

Wow, I’m another Feb. 27th bride! It is coming pretty fast and I just finished designing the programs, escort cards, and table numbers.  RSVPs are coming in so that is really exciting!

Our wedding is going to be very small with only 45 guests so I’m not too overwhelmed.  I don’t know how you large wedding brides can do it!! I would go crazy!
