@artbee – that’s what we thought would happen, too. So thankfully we are still within budget now that we decided to upgrade our bar package.
@Martine87 – exciting! I need to do our escort cards still. We are trying to figure out which table everyone is going to sit at. It’s actually quite difficult!
So… 38 days! Starting to really feel it now haha. I have appointments booked all over my calendar for haircut, dress fittings, eyebrow wax, etc. and I am trying to squeeze in a mani/pedi. Seating charts. Schedule for the day.
On top of all this, we are trying to look at apartments! My head is spinning.

@ Miss Yap: WAHOOOO- I’m 2/20/10 TOO. I am sooo ready to be done with this. Is that a baad thing? I mean don’t get me wrong- I am looking forward to it but my stress level is through the roof- I’m ready to be on my honeymoon and this to be all over.

@courkiadams22. i’m so ready for it to be done! i’m not really into the wedding though, i just want to be married. people keep saying things like, “when you’re done you’re going to miss it and want to be a wedding planner.” they obviously don’t know me very well!

We are definitely in the home stretch 🙂 My wedding is 2 weeks away from tomorrow, but the panic hasn’t really set in. I feel like most things are done at this point.
I’m just waiting for one family to make up their mind if they’re coming, then I can finalize my seating chart. I need to grab a few more items for the mens bathroom basket, and make a few ‘reserved’ signs for the front rows at the ceremony. I’m still trying to find cheap glass containers to use for the sand ceremony. We had more guests RSVP than anticipated, so I have to make a few more table numbers.
Right now, I’m finalizing the day of timeline and splitting up tasks for the bridal party.
The week before, I hope to have everything completed and can focus on cleaning my house, purchasing items for my bridesmaids brunch, and wash my car. I’m so excited about the honeymoon that I’ve already starting putting clothes and items into a pile. We have a day in between our wedding and our flight, so we can finish up packing after the wedding if necessary.

@bananafishfever- you sound pretty organized… i hope that’s me in a few weeks! i would try the dollar store for the sand ceremony containers. they usually have some nice glass containers, and you could always tie a ribbon around it to make it pretty.

@bananafishfever, wow! sounds like you have everything under control. We also have a day in-between the wedding and our flight for honeymoon, but I want to get most of the packing done early.
We are doing our own flowers, so Future Mother-In-Law, my mom and I were doing flower trials for the bouquets, bouttonieres, and centerpieces. Pretty fun, and the test runs went really well.
We are trying to finalize the seating arrangements this week. Then I can make the escort cards. And I need to make the programs. I actually already made them in advance, but we had to take them apart around Christmastime when there were a couple of major changes to our bridal party…(long story) So I should do those this week.

I finished putting together the mens bathroom basket and my reserved signs. I think the signs was my favorite project – only took 5 minutes, unlike most of my other DIY projects 🙂 I followed the tutorial that someone posted here on weddingbee.
