Oh man, I am SO anxious for February to be over! Our RSVP date is March 1, and there’s so much final stuff I can’t do until we have that final guest count – seating arrangements, adding any centerpieces if needed and last minute candle orders, final estimates of costs, hotel guest bags, etc.
We extended 255 invitations (including about 50 +1’s), but we’re only expecting somewhere between 130 – 170, so that final guest list is soooo important.
Is it March yet? 🙂 Plus, my two showers and bachelorette party are in March!
Anyone else dying for February to fly by?

I know the feeling. I don’t even care if it is march I just want all my damn rsvps back. Pretty much everything left to do is depending on my final guest count and the fact that I sent out invitations a MONTH ago and have gotten back like a whopping 5 rsvp makes me want to scream. Anyway at least Feb is the shortest month of the year….so less than 3 weeks til it’s over

um…I say- enjoy the lull! 🙂 I have a spreadsheet that I just moved over to our wall and phone calendars and noticed we can do some of the little stuff (more flexible items) now to make March and April less hectic. I am enjoying that we dont have to work quite so hard yet, but again, the spreadsheets and wedding binder I made have everything lined up so I think it might not be too tough, we’ll see 🙂

@NAvery: Feb does seem to be dragging, but I’m 6 weeks out and am glad it’s dragging!

I’m enjoying the drag especially since I’m having Bridesmaid or Best Man issues. 2 have dropped out and 1 still hasn’t gotten her dress and is ignoring my calls. So it looks like I may just be having 3 girls… (sigh) I wish we could have done a Destination Wedding. I’m tired of all this family drama and all the expenses going into this wedding.

I’m actually not even sending my invites out until the last week of Feb ! I’m starting to stress a little bit – but not over the top yet !
How is everyone else coming along ?!?!

YES. I sent out RSVPs 3 weeks ago and was overjoyed when I started getting them back. But suddenly the flood has stopped. I got about 1/3 of the invites back, and I’m sure a lot of people assume I know they’re coming (comments on facebook etc) but I don’t want to add them to the count until I know for sure. And we have to tell the venue how many people to expect when the money is due on March 5th. Agh. So yeah, I’m looking forward to getting more responses. And also I am getting so excited about all the little details, like the music and the bridesmaids dresses my future sister in law is making. I can’t get the countdown out of my head! 68 days left…

@ccfwwedding: what made you decide to wait so long to send invites out? My day is 4/13 and we sent ours out 2nd week of Jan to make sure out of town people had enough time. I’m hopping to have rsvp’s back sooner than later I’m stressing the final count.

I’m starting to feel the same way. My shower is Feb 23rd so that’s one thing to look forward to this month but my bachelorette party is also in March! Our invites will go out this week and I will be so impatient to get those response cards back!

Yes and no. Like you, I’m ready to get the final head count and finalize everything, but as it gets closer I think of more little details I want to buy and it makes me nervous.

I am so ready for February to be over! I have my shower at the end of February, so that’s getting super close.. once the shower is over then March will be here! We have some important meetings with vendors in March, so I’m anxious for those.. and my bachelorette party is in March 🙂 Time truely is flying by! We sent out our invitations last week, and have gotten back 30 of the 100 RSVPs already, that makes it feel so real!

I agree! I am getting Married April, 13. Jan seemed to FLY by but Feb isn’t doing that for me. I received one of the Count Down clocks from a friend (from exclusively weddings.com) and it seems like it has made the days drag by. I use to calculate how many days until about once a week and it was always exciting because i was 5-7 days closer than i was last time i looked but now i see the minutes and seconds counting down slowly on my mantle. Im more excited to have the wedding OVER with and go on out honeymoon than i am anything else!
