@KittyYogi:  thank you so much bee! I hope this is it but i’m not relaxed in the slightest. 32 eggs is awesome! I have my fingers crossed for an excellent fert/day 5 report!

So I had my scan yesterday, no follicles on the right, only three on the left. I’m not doing very well. This will be my fifth retrieval and my lowest count yet. I’m having so much trouble staying optimistic. I’ve basically been a mess the last two days. I’m trying to pull it together but it just seems impossible that this round will work.

I know I roll called and then ghosted out this month… It’s not been a great time.  I decided to cancel my uterine biopsy.  It’s just a lot for us to handle right now, especially with all the logistics of the pre-preprocedure drugs (have to take an extra few hours off work before the procedure itself) and having DH have to drive me (but then wait in the car, of course).  I haven’t gotten the sense that any of my doctors consider this likely to end in more information anyway – it’s just ruling out unlikely things.  But honestly, I don’t really want to sign up for more pain and bleeding via a voluntary procedure, I’m tired of feeling crappy, and PMS has been a huge problem on top of the miscarriages… and I might just not be cut out for this.  So for now, and maybe forever, we’re pausing.

Congratulations to those who are having success and best of luck to those still trying.  I don’t know how you all do it; I’m in awe of and envy your dedication and resilience.

@jen9999:  I’m sorry to hear about your scan ❤ I can imagine this being extremely difficult

I talked to Dr. Vidali last week and he wants me to get an MRI. I found a place a few hours away that will let me pay for it privately and get it done quickly, but it’s been a week since he said he would send a requisition, and I’ve reminded the clinic. Im a bit annoyed. 🙁

I also have another consult with a surgeon locally next Monday. I’m crossing my fingers it goes well. It’s just so frustrating that surgeries get cancelled because of covid. The area that this doctor is it has less cases, so I’m hoping the wait list isn’t as long

@itsme1987:  Vidali’s office can be a pain, but he’s totally worth it.

@jen9999:  how would you suggest getting the req? Keep harassing the clinic? Or should I text Dr. Vidali?

@piscesinsc:  can I ask what area a your fibroids were in for your myomectomy? I’m looking into having fibroids removed during my surgery for endometriosis, but now I’m worried. All of mine are intramural. I don’t know if that makes a difference

I’m so sorry to those of you that are struggling. It has been a hard month on this board. I started the month thinking my lining would never thicken enough for transfer, but my beta today (10dp5dt) came back at 265. I was floored- I was fully expecting a low number. The big test will be Wednesday to see if it doubled but at least for now I have some cautious hope.

@itsme1987:  I don’t remember where mine were, but I’m pretty sure at least one of them was inside the wall and at least one was growing inwards towards the uterus. They don’t always recommend surgery if they are on the outside of the uterus.

@DogsAndWine:  Congratulations!! I hope your numbers double by Wednesday.

I need to catch up on the thread as I took the weekend off for my birthday. I can test next week to see if the IUI worked but I doubt it did. My husband and I are going to meet with my RE to discuss surgery. There’s a super invasive surgery that would be like having fibroid surgery again or I can do an in-office hysteroscopy and hormone therapy. I have no idea which option we’ll choose or if we will just give up. We are borth reading adoption books this week and are meeting with a coworker and his wife who adopted next week. I am not going to make any decision until I have more info. I think I’m going to skip roll calling for March but maybe I’ll be back again later this spring. Congrats to everyone who saw some good luck this month and hugs to those who are struggling. This is an unbearable journey and I’m ready for it to end, however that happens.
