I am so frustrated with my thermometers! My good one has been reading very low(tried it last night and it told me I was at 96.2). And my CVS one takes about 10minutes to get a readout. I feel like my chart this month isn’t going to be very accurate. *end rant*

I wrote a really long post with responses to everyone last night and weddingbee ate it! I have to run out this morning so I guess I’ll just have to sum it up to I’m sorry for everyone who’s out this month and FX for this next cycle! Everyone who’s still in, I have my FX for you too!

Do any of the Canadian bees have the pink Life brand thermometer from Shoppers? It’s taking longer to read my temp and is starting to favourite temps, so I think I need to change the batteries. But I can’t figure out how to get the end off to change them or even see what kind of batteries it takes! If anyone could help me out that’d be great.

@ScottishMrs:  I have the same one, but haven’t changed batteries on it yet. I’ll see if I can pry it apart tonight after work! ๐Ÿ˜‰

@MrsPuddingface:   @ScottishMrs:  You girls like that thermometer? I think I should get a new one and see if my temps start to make more sense…

@ScottishMrs:  You just have to pull the end off. I have the same one and it took a really good pull the first time, but now it pops on and off no problem. I don’t know how you’re supposed to get the battery out, but I pried it out with the end of a paperclip. It’s watch battery L736.

@MrsAMac:  I like it, but it’s also the only one I’ve used, so I can’t give a fair comparison. What are you using now?

@bunnymama:  ummm, I don’t even want to admit this but i’m just using a normal thermometer – 3M brand. My DH bought it for me and didn’t know I needed a BBT kind and I never bought a new one.

@doxielove: thanks for adding me to the list!

My temps are all out of wack this month.  I’ve been crazy low, like 96.1ish, so I took it vaginally yesterday and got good ol’ 98.6.  I think I’ll have to discount this month’s chart.

@MrsAMac:  I do like it, but I’ve never used anything else in the last 8 months. I wish it had a backlight, but other than that I really like it. It does the job and it’s worked well and been dependable. You’ll find it in Shoppers by the pregnancy tests.

@MrsAMac:  I’ve always used a regular thermometer and never had any issues.  I still get a clear thermal shift in my charts.  TCOYF actually recommends a regular thermometer instead of a BBT therm that goes to the hundredth digit, because it’s not usually necessary and can cause confusion.  I already overanalyze every temp shift – if I had 1 that went to another digit, I’d have waaaay too much information to overanalyze. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@MrsAMac:  I use a normal thermometer, as well. I know people usually swear by the BBT, but I can’t be bothered to get one. I’m a bad TTCer, I guess, lol.
