(Closed) FEBRUARY POAS (part two!)

  • poll: Do you untie your shoes every time you take them off?

I slip my shoes off and then have to undo the laces when I put them back on.

I listened to my mother - always untie them before taking them off!

I manage to force them on and off without undoing them.

I don't even own a single pair of shoes with laces.

I tie my shoes so loosely that they never have to be untied.

    I wear my shoes untied.

My baby fever is so bad that I can't even wear shoes. (??? hahaha..)

@Sugar_and_Spice:  I’m going to go against the “test now” and say “Test tomorrow with FMU!” it shold definitely give you a line by then if you’re KU. FX for you!

4-hour hold came back negative. And half of the control line was smudgey, so now my mind is trying to convince me it was a faulty test. Ugh. And that was my last FRER! All I’ve got left is a stupid digital, sore boobs, and no AF or BFP. And I’m whiny.

@Sugar_and_Spice:  Oh, that stinks!  I bet it was a faulty test, though.  On my FRERs, the control line was always very clear.  Those were all negatives too.  So, you’re still in the game!  Fingers crossed!

As I posted in the Charters thread, I am still waiting to ovulate. I’m not particularly worried, just annoyed that I’ve literally watched some of you get a BFN, ovulate, and test AGAIN in the time since this cycle has started for me.  I think it’ll happen this weekend, but that means my POAS date needs to be the latest possible date.

Move it on back to February 28, please! Thanks!

Happy Valentine’s Day bees! I hope you all have a wonderful day. I have been taking this month of TTC pretty easy…mostly because my back injury has made me think this month is a wash anyway. I hope those of you testing over the next couple days get your BFPs!

I’ve decided again this month that I don’t want to test, I just want to wait for AF to show … and so far she isn’t here! However, our BD timing was HORRIBLE this month so I know it’s a long shot. Regardless I bought pre-seed, a BBT thermometer, and OPKs so we can really give it our all next month.

*leaves chocolates and champagne for everyone*

Thanks for the kindness, all. And best of luck today ladies! πŸ™‚

For my part I’m going to be patiently impatient for a few more days and wait for AF to be really, really late. Maybe I misread my middleschmenz (or, geez, however it’s spelled) and O’d later than I thought. Maybe my body is just screwing with me for fun. Whatever. All signs (other than the tests) point to impending pregnancy, so I’m gonna roll with it for now.

Someone’s got to be positive in this relationship, and if it ain’t the tests it’s going to be me. πŸ™‚

(Besides, Feb 18th is looking awfully lonely, so I’ll just wander down there and plant my little POAS flag.) πŸ˜‰ Much love today!

Hello ladies!  I haven’t O’ed for a REALLY long time so I’ve been off-and-on on the POAS boards.  Was following along for a while and then real life got in the way and I lost my WB time.  Things are quieting down (a little) and more importantly, I’ve O’ed!  So I finally get to roll call for real (first time since….September)

    Roll call!

    Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD22/ 6 DPO

    Ovulation Date: 2/8

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: 2/22.  Usual cycle length: who knows

Cycles Trying: Cycle 7, Month 14

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Added OPKs lasts cycle.  Started taking metformin at the beginning of this cycle after a PCOS dx.  I O’ed on CD16 which is something like 8 or 10 days earlier than I’ve O’ed since I started tracking – so that’s pretty exciting.  We didn’t do so great on timing, only hitting O-1, because I honestly didn’t believe all the signs that I was actually going to ovulate.  Oops.  I’m also trying to add a B complex vitamin but the metformin is wreaking havoc with my system so I haven’t been great with taking that.

Link to Chart, if anyhttp://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/GearBride  Feel free to add me!

    and for fun –

What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC?
We have friends coming to visit this month from out of town – looking forward to that!

Pretty depressing since I just O’d 2 days ago, but I’m pretty sure I’m already out for this month. Results of an ultrasound showed that my uterine lining was only 4.3mm, which is way too thin for implantation. So, looks like there is no way this cycle will end in a BFP and we are on to cycle 6. Oh well, at least I know what might have been the cause of our troubles so far and hopefully we can try to fix it next cycle. For now, I am off to go drown my sorrows in Valentine’s Day red wine and chocolate πŸ™

@PeachBee:  I hope you’re wrong and you get a pleasant surprise! But even if you’re right, there is always next month! πŸ™‚

As for me I am 3DPO so looking down the barrel at a 9 or 10 day LP which from what I understand is not good but not impossible for a BFP. We got some good BD in with 0-3 and 0-1. Hopefully some lone sperm makes contact with my lil egg. I was running this morning and thinking about what is going on in there right now, and then I realised it’s just all so microscopic at this point … so many things have to line up. feeling philosophical I guess. I’m starting to understand why there is only about a 20% chance each cycle of conception. And if it doesn’t happen this cycle I’m not going to flip out, I’m just going to get back in the saddle (so to speak heh) and try again all the while getting on with life, which is pretty good. I have a lot to be thankful for including a husband who is on board for this crazy journey, my funny furry friend and all my human friends. I guess I am pretty lucky as well that no one in my immediate group of friends is pregnant or TTC so it’s not like I’m feeling left behind or missing out because of everyone else getting KU. Finally, I am real glad that this forum exists because it gives me an outlet unlike any other IRL.
