  • poll: Do you have Valentine's Day plans?

My only plans are to BD! :)

We are going out for a romantic dinner or date.

We are staying in and making our own special dinner.

We are taking a romantic trip!

    I'm treating myself to a spa day/etc..

No plans yet, but hope to have some!

Nothing special, it's just another day.

    Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD1

Ovulation Date: I am estimating between Jan. 28th to Feb. 3rd. The earlier the better.

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: My LP is usually 12-14 days long. I am going to go with my 29th bday date on Feb. 11th to have my first real POAS time.

    Cycles Trying: First NTNP

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): I am already taking prenatals nothing else this cycle. Once we hit the CD14, we are going to have sex more regularly like EOD, and once I get a close to positive OPK, I am going to try every day until I get CH. πŸ™‚

Question for the more experienced POAS ladies, what do you buy to prepare for the POAS grand experience? I have a few Wondfo pregnancy sticks that came with my OPKs and one FRER that I’ve been saving for a while now.

@candy11:  Can’t answer from experience, but if you haven’t tried ordering FRERs from Amazon, I’d recommend it πŸ™‚ I was surprised how much of a savings it was (at least compared to prices in stores around here).  In my local CVS, they charge $19 for a box of two – I bought 2 boxes of 2 for $15 on Amazon.  When I’m ready for POAS-palooza, I have about 10 Wondfos and 5 FRERs hanging out in my bathroom cabinet.

ETA: I’m sure this is overkill, but what can I say – I’m a planner and I know I’m going to be in the “pee early pee often” camp.

@SadieBee:  LOL! Probably me too. I say 10 dpo should be good enough, but realistically it should be more like 12dpo at the earliest. I hope I am at least 8 dpo at my bday, I really do because I am going with that date. My second best date would be Valentine’s day.

@RainbowHope:  I added you in FF, your current nickname is User 4B5D0E, you might want to change it to something more recognizable.

@candy11:  Aww, a birthday BFP would be amazing πŸ™‚ I’m hoping for birthday BDing, since we’ll likely be smack dab in the middle of my FW (and I’m guessing with both our birthdays and Valentines Day, we’ll get plenty of BDing in during those days Wink).

@SadieBee:  You’re more than welcome to stalk and hopefully you do get to roll call! We’re rooting for you and hubby!  Hope you get some news soon and get to BDing!

I will definatley be roll calling soon. It’s CD1 for me, but I’m gonna pout and hate on AF for a few more days before getting too excited for February  πŸ˜‰

@SadieBee:  That’s so true! BDing sounds nice around Valentine’s. We are probably doing all the BDing around our dating anniversary later in January lol!

@MrsBananas:  I was going to say we are cycle twins, but I notice you have way shorter cycles than mine. Oh what I would do for shorter cycles πŸ™‚

@candy11:  HA! I noticed you had longer cycles a few days ago when I saw your temp spike.  Sorry yours are so long.  I never realized mine were on the shorter side til I came to the bee.

    @SadieBee:

I found FRERs on sale at the pharmacy this week, and I may or may not have bought FOUR boxes of two tests each… 13.99 instead of 22 dollars.    *whistles…*

I also may or may not have bought some internet cheapies, I got 5 bonus HCG tests   with my LH tests, and then went ahead and order a pack of 30 JUST HCG tests.    Um…. I might have a problem.
