Me and my fiance are planning on getting married in February 2013, in Houston, TX. We want to do our wedding at Ashton Gardens but now my parents are worried about the chances of the weather being bad. It’s not outdoors so I don’t think this is too big of a deal, thoughts?

- Wedding: March 2012 - Zama Beach Club, Isla Mujeres, Mexico
You can never tell about the weather in TX. Saturday it was a gorgeous, sunny day about 70 degrees…today its rainy and cold.
I honestly dont see a big deal since the wedding wont be outside. Go for it, gal!

We got married in Dallas in December! It really was no big deal, the only thing we really worried about was some of our family from northern states being delayed from snowstorms where they lived.
It actually ended up pouring (in the middle of a major drought, of course!) but since it was inside, it didn’t matter at all. If that’s when works for you, go for it!

I’ve been to a few weddings at Ashton Gardens – beautiful venue! I don’t see why it would matter what the weather is like… you should be able to stay inside the entire time!

I’m actually getting married there in february also! I’ve heard that there’s a small chance for rain but they will walk the bridal party under umbrellas from the ceremony to the reception if that happens. As far as pictures go i think it will still be beautiful rainy, just won’t be able to takes pics outside.

You’ll probably be fine. I would say you have the same risks anytime of year (rain, windy, maybe cold/hot)

It was 80 degrees on Christmas Eve 2 years ago. There is no predicting the weather in Texas, especially in Houston.
