@MsRMTiffany: The same thing happened to my wedding album. I had it delivered to my parent’s address (as a gift), the fedex website showed that it had been delivered, but they were at home and did not receive it.

In my case what happened was that they delivered it to the wrong address. My parents live on a street called Crestwood. When they typed it into their computer they typed in the number, then Cre and hit enter. In the same zip code, there are several streets that begin like this, for example Creekmere, Crestview, etc. My parents called fedex (I’m out of the country or would have dealt with it myself). They weren’t very helpful at first, but my parents told him which address they thought it was delivered to (we had this happen before with other fedex and ups shipments). The fedex driver went back to that address, the package was there and they brought it back to my parents. (My parents actually went to the address themselves, as well, but the people were not home.)

Anyway, I’m just sharing b/c maybe something similar happened and you can try to track it down that way. Good luck! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Confirm the address on your receipt. And if you have the tracking number, check where the delivery man left the box. Most of the time, it either says “front door, w/ doorman, etc…”

I hope it turns up!! I don’t understand the “no signature required” crap. Fiance and I ordered a flat screen TV at Christmas and the store had it delivered to us with no signature required selected, so what did the shipping company do? Leave it on our porch, with no disguise to the box… flat out “IM A GIANT TV”. Silly, I definitely think once an item is over X value a signature should ALWAYS be required.

I’m sure it will all turn out for you though, a wedding dress seems like an odd thing to steal. And if you say someone was home all day, sounds like the delivery man just didn’t do his job properly as discgirl said.

they will find it don’t fret some times the driver missed the box or it drops into the corner of a truck. I have this happen all the time with packages and I just call the company I ordered the product from and UPS/FEDEX. They always find and deliver the item within a few days.

I ordered some nail polish a few weeks ago and they were shipped via Fedex.  Their website and tracking number said it was delivered at my front door, but a few days passed and no luck.  They ended up accidentally delivering it to a neighbor, who turned it in to our apartment complex clubhouse.

I hope it turns up soon!!

So sorry, but try to relax. They have uber good tracking systems and they will get in touch with the driver and he will find it. My engagement ring was delivered to the wrong address and my head almost exploded, but i had it within 2 hours.
