Has anyone found themselves waiting all day for a Fedex delivery?
I had Fiance courier me some documents overnight I need for my work visa so I can get back there this weekend. They were supposed to arrive by 5pm tonight.
I have been tracking the package and it got to my city at 10:30 this morning and was out for delivery at 11 am. It is 5 pm and it still isn’t here. I know they have other deliveries but I’m not sure why it takes 6 hours to get from the Fedex store to my house that is 15 minutes away 🙁

I work in the freight industry, not with FedEx though. It’s possible you’re just near the end of the rout. I’d give the a call and try to trace it though. They should be able to see what’s going on if their system is at all organized. Or at least be able to update you with a firmer ETA.

@Ravenne: My tracking just got updated to “delivery attempted, customer not available”. I even called Fedex and they said a delivery was attempted, I was sitting by the door all day because this is very important, no one ever rang the bell or knocked. At least I can go pick it up myself because they could only guarantee delivery by end of day tomorrow and I need it in the morning. Oh well, at least I know it arrived.

@pixiecat: Ugh. Fex Ex once delivered my son’s Christmas present to our address in another city 20 miles from our house. Luckily it was a business and they called Fed Ex and reported the error. We didn’t get for 4 more days though. December 27th! I hate Fed Ex. I also hate the post office. Accuracy and timeliness are so obviously not their strong points. They constantly don’t attempt to deliver the packages when they say they do.

Can I AHHH Fedex too? I ordered 2 dresses that were shipped fedex. They came by at 11am yesterday looking for a signature. Seriously? The odds of someone being home are slim.
Everytime I get a UPS shipment that requires a signature it always comes in the evening.

Well I have solved the Fedex mystery, when leaving the house last night my mom noticed a Fedex tag in our neighbour’s tree so thought that Fedex had come to our house and left the tag but it was blown off (we had a bad storm that night that started with a lot of wind). It had my nieghbour’s signature on it to leave the package on redelivery but it had my tracking number. So they went to the wrong house. I am still mad they couldn’t figure out the right house, but I’m glad I didn’t mention it at Fedex when I picked it up because I wanted to get home before the storm got worse.
