I really want to do a candy buffet for my wedding. I went out on a hunt to salvation army & the thrift store and found a bunch of neat candy jars. I plan to do yellow, whites, golds & browns.
Just talked with my Fiance the other day, and he doesn’t seem too keen on the idea! I am a huge chocolate lover. Neither of us are big on candy, but our friends are! And we are having some kids at the wedding.
For brides who have done one before — any tips? feedback? advice?
What did it generally cost for the candy? And how big was your wedding?

I am getting married in October and am planning on doing a candy table as well. The advice/tips I’ve gotten from others is to make sure and plan on having someone check the table every now and then in case jars need to be re-filled and to make sure you have enough candy. Also make sure that you have a plan for any leftover candy, we will using our candy table as favors as well. We are going to have little baggies that they can fill up and take home with them.
I have recently started buying the candy so I would suggest you just stock up whenever you are out, buy in bulk though and it will save you on cost. Sams club is great or buy during holidays when there are better sales. good luck!

I think that sounds great! We upgraded to a sweet tooth table that our venue offers, but I love your idea! And I’ve seen it on all those bridal shows, so go for it!!
