I posted this dress in a previous poll, and while it got some votes, there were many who said the bottom looked awkward and did not fit properly. After trying this dress on again, I decided it is my favorite… I was wondering if anyone had more feedback specifically about the bottom of the dress… or ideas as to how to make it look better. Crinoline maybe?
thanks in advance! I really value the help!

I think a crinoline would make the skirt more dramatic. I think it’s pretty!

I love the way the back looks, the front I’m not too crazy about. I tried on a dress similar to this and LOVED the way it looked, but it the front felt….incomplete almost to me.
Oh and it looks great though. I think its beautiful.

I think it looks beautiful! You could try it on with crinoline underneath, maybe it will make it look fuller?

it’s a beautiful dress and some crinoline would add some drama and would also give the bottom structure. now, it’s just kinda falling to the floor. with some support, the silhouette shape will be different and more of the lace detailing on the bottom will show

Okay thanks bees, I will have to try it on AGAIN but this time I will put some crinoline underneath to see if I like it more.

I love all of it! Just add some crinolin. I would be thrilled to wear it!

Its beautiful but for some reason my eyes are drawn to line where the skirt begins and that’s all I zone in on. I think that as others have mentioned with crinoline it might do the trick! Add pics after trying it on with the crinoline!

I’ll definitely add pictures as soon as I try it on with crinoline!

@littleG – It’s a stiff fabric ususally used to make dresses pouffier

Yep, crinoline would add more drama. Bear in mind, though, that making the skirt more flared will change the silhouette, which may not be a good thing. It may have the effect of making you look shorter. Fortunately you get to try it out first!
To be honest though, I’d be more worried about the top – it”s doing weird things to your boobs. Maybe try it with a different bra too?
