Let me introduce myself. I am Lorraine, mother of 4 – wife to a wonderful loving husband of nearly 10 years. I have for several years run an online childrens hair boutique and have had much success. I am branching out into wedding flowers and hair accessories. I have already been making many of these for years and I make them with nothing less than the best silk flowers. I pride myself on offering the best of the best.
Here’s where my post comes into being. I am currently setting up website and would absolutely love feedback on what you girls like. I wish I could add a poll! lol. Any feedback is splendid feedback.
Colors, materials, size, type of attachment, price range, pearls, sequins etc.
If there is something you would like to see (not to buy just to see out of interest) let me know as I love a challenge!

Personally – I like silk flowers & feather. For me (bargin bride) – price point of less than $40 is key.
Also – flexability – working with brides is very appreciated!

Some of the most coveted hair flowers have come from Myra at Twigs & Honey (also on Etsy). Personally I love her designs but they are a little pricey for me (some are $60+) so I made my own hair flower for about $5 by buying a silk flower from Michael’s and sewing it onto a hair comb I bought at the drugstore.
When I was looking for hair flowers, the market I didn’t see being served was the lower-priced but still good quality one. Anything that cost under $30 looked like junk, or like something I could do for myself for $5 (which I ended up doing). So to me at least the most important factor is a balance of quality and price. Although it would be inexpensive, it can’t be so lo-fi that it looks like something I could do myself.
I want something that looks natural, not too many sequins or feather embellishments, and nicer than what I’d find at Michael’s. Also, since it’s an online site I would want to see pictures of the piece both by itself and on someone’s hair so I can get a feeling for how big it is. Having a range of products from the simple to the very fancy may also help you appeal to a range of brides. Above all, flexibility and working with brides for custom orders is really important too. Good luck with your business!
