I am considering Moissanite for my e-ring (for budgetary reasons) but am a little worried since I don’t know if it holds up well over the years? Please let me know if you love your moissy and how it holds up long term! Also, please let me know where you bought it from just so I can decide where to purchase (I am looking for online options only).
Thanks so much!

I’ve only had mine a year, but so far so good! I do love it and actually just got caught at work yesterday admiring it like it was brand new. It’s so hard not to look at while working because there are constant pretty colors running through it and it just demands attention. I love it and am happy with my choice. Moissanite is a forever stone. You shouldn’t have issues with it not lasting

it’s not a cz or a soft gem, you won’t have to worry about it holding up. The oil slick is the only issue that *may* happen [its rare] but silver polish or windex/dish soap cleaner will fix that.

I’ve also had mine for just about a year, and haven’t had any problems! That “oil slick” stain people mention has appeared on my stone maybe twice during that time, but a 5-second rub with a Sunshine polishing cloth makes it disappear, so it really doesn’t bother me (especially since I regularly clean and polish my ring anyway!) Moissanite is second only to diamonds for hardness, so it’s an incredibly durable stone!
My ring came from a jeweler called Aardvark Jewellery on Etsy. They’re on the pricier side, but their rings and craftsmanship are amazing 🙂

I haven’t had mine long but I’m really impressed. It’s much sparklier than my diamond was and I’ve decided nothing but moissy from here on our. I found my diamond kind of boring aesthetically (to be fair, it’s not a great diamond) and I found I much prefer the disco ball moodiness of my moissy. I bought mine from BailiesDesigns on Etsy.

I love my moissy. I have bad it a little over a year. It is holding up great! It continues to sparkle as much as the day it was given to me. I find it more pleasing to look at than a diamond. I got mine from an etsy shop called Esdomera.

I’ve had my forever brilliant moissanite for close to 8 years. It still looks as beautiful as the day I got it. I had an oil slick stain, but my jewler removed it for me. Here’s a few pics of my moissanite:

I have a solitare mossianite ring that I’ve been wearing 24/7 since I got it in 2008. It still looks as beautiful today as the day I got it. It was purchased from MossianiteCo. I have another from Charles and Colvard that I too wear 24/7 since 2016 and same thing, just as beautiful as I day I got it.

I have a moissanite engagement ring I’ve only had it a couple months but so far I love it. It’s the crushed ice affect so not as much rainbows (which is what I wanted) I don’t wear it when cleaning or showering or sleeping but al day every day I do wear it and it is still beautiful.

If you search moissanite on this site you’ll get bazillions of hits on different stores, types, settings etc. There are posts dating back years and years, so you should be able to find tons of info.
We ordered my ring from MoissaniteCo, and it’s not here yet but planning on doing a little post once we do!

I haven’t had mine long, but I love it! It’s sparkly, and looks better than my diamond. I’m obsessed I bought mine from Pandrid Design on Etsy. Great prices, and really nice moissanite to choose from and they custom make anything and send you a CAD drawing. Just a great experience.😊

I bought mine from Fire and Brilliance but also had it designed by David Klass. I’ve had the ring for almost a year and half

Initially I considered a white sapphire or CZ but decided against since they arent as durable.
moissanite is basically as durable as a diamond. So as long as you set it in a durable metal then its similarly durable to a diamond ring
I got mine from Tianyu Gems. They are a wholesale manufacturer with excellent pricing. Very happy with my ring from them. FH said they were pretty easy to work with too.

I was going to go with a white sapphire initially, but I felt it wasn’t going to be hard enough and the ones I saw in person were pretty dull, then I found out about moissanite and lost my mind lol Mines from moissaniteco. I loooove it! I haven’t had mine long, only about 10 months almost but I’ve not had any issues. I have a 1 carat equivalent and I kinda whack it on things a lot accidentally but no chips or scratches or anything. It’s such a beautiful durable stone.
