My coordinator recommended Laura Layer.  I hope to meet with her next month.  I tried to call and email Natalie Lemus, she never contacted me.  It’s rather rude never to reply.

Never heard of any of them. Schedule to meet with them and see who you click with best who shares your vision. Also make sure to view a full album, which includes pictures they don’t post online. There really isn’t any other way to tell.

I used Nataly Lemus & her husband Art.  I liked them very much.  Only thing I wish I had prepared them better for what groupings and gave them more structure.  I think they do better when there is more outdoor scenery then inside.  If you don’t have a big reception / or alot of dancing you depend on their creativity. much of my photos were repetitive, I’d say 20% or little less I really loved.  They used great colorization and we really loved that.  They give you some in sepia & b/w which is nice too.  Get real specific with your photogs ahead of time and have someone during your reception/wedding pull your loved ones and have them get their pictures taken.  YOu will be swept up and not even worrying about them.

Oh, and yes, she is not a great communicator.  I do agree.

You might not need this info anymore but I met with Nataly Lemus and she is definitely not a good communicator.  Her work is nice but if you need to hear from your vendors she’s not the right one.

My Fiance and I booked with Felicia Perry.  She is very professional, nice and her work is great.

This post might be coming a little too too late but Felicia Perry Photography is who I’m doing all of my wedding photog thru. She’s done my boudoir shots for my surprise gift to the FH and my engagement photos and I am nothing but pleased with her work. I love her!

I just used Laura Layera and her husband for my wedding and they were AMAZING. I researched so many photographers – speaking to almost 30 in the LA area before finally finding Laura and it was the best decision I made. Honestly I cannot recommend them enough – they were incredibly nice, incredibly organized, so easy to communicate and work with and just incredible photographers. They made us, the bridal party and all our guests feels so comfortable all day long and we had so much fun working with them – they are honestly brilliant. They must have taken over 2,000 photos because they were always snapping away, from the second they arrived until past their contracted time – they didn’t miss a moment. I had to tell Laura to leave, she was so sweet and didn’t want to miss anything so stayed late which was incredibly thoughtful and generous of her.

The pictures are AMAZING, so beautiful and completely bring back every emotion I felt on the day which is exactly why we hired a photojournalistic style photographer.  Laura was kind enough to send me and my husband a preview slideshow of photos from the wedding while we were on our honeymoon and we both got very emotional looking at them.  Everyone has already commented on just the few photos we’ve seen so far how beautiful and incredible they all are – we cannot wait to see the full set!  Honestly, do not even think twice about hiring Laura – she is a true professional, so cool and a pleasure to work with.
