I feel like I sometimes get lost in the weeds and miss the bigger picture. Any additional ideas for our brunch wedding at a summer camp in Minnesota? Or do you think this is enough? After paying for the below, we’ll probably still have a few hundred dollars left. I’m especially interested in hearing your ideas for a card table and for our cake pop table (we will also have a sweetheart cake for us to cut).
Here’s our reception venue. Keep in mind that we will be married during the day so lighting isn’t a big concern for me.
White tablecloths + burlap runners… similar to this. The chairs will be white (I wanted natural wood, but there aren’t any to rent in the area of my wedding)
Burlap backdrop + lights behind the head table
These letters (our initials, L & B) for at the head table
We have a few picture frames to put near the guest book, etc. This is just one of the frames…
Centerpieces will be mason jars wrapped in twine + preserved flowers to match bouquets, etc. They will be every other with lanterns like this:
These are the lanterns + there will be candles inside.
Escort cards will be displayed like this when people walk in:
We are planning to put this table up by the outdoor ceremony for cards/etc…. Will probably then work into the reception decor as well.
We have this chalkboard for something, but I haven’t decided what yet. It’s pretty big.
We may also buy this garland, though I’m not 100% sure where it will go yet.
I haven’t finalized our tablescape, but I have a few ideas for it, so I promise I’m not overlooking it!
So… what are your thoughts? How can I add some more oomph without spending thousands of dollars?
