We’re feeding all vendors who will be at the reception… photographer, videographer, musicians, coordinator.  Most of them required a meal by contract.

We;re feeding all our vendors.  My makeup artist, hairdresser and florist are acutally guests, so we’re tchnically feeding them too, just as guests not vendors!!

Side question…should we send them invites to get thier meal choices, or just ask them during a meeting?

My husband and I are wedding photographers, and we do not put a meal in our contract, but we’ve only been to one wedding where we didn’t get to eat.

That said, all we really want to know is what the situation is. If we’re not going to be fed, we want to know so that we can stash a snack in our camera bags. Our days often run 12 hours, and we just can’t go that long without a bite to eat!

My photog contract actually specifies that you must include time for them to eat.  I will use the same philosophy I use with my movers: feed your vendors!  A full vendor is a happy vendor and a happy vendor will help you out!!

My caterer provides all vendor meals at no extra charge.  You might want to ask if they will throw them in for you for free!
