I feel the exact same way as you! I find a lot of pretty dresses I like, and might possibly see myself wearing, but nothing that just jumps out or feels definitely right. I’ve been to so many places, I’d have to travel over an hour to go to any new stores… hopefully we’ll both find THE dress soon! Good luck!

I felt this way too. I drove to every store in a two hour radius. I have tried on almost every style imaginable and nothing excited me. I was meh about all of them. Then I was browsing etsy for the first time and came across these hats:
I knew I had to have one. I started randomly surfing Etsy and then I found her. She was so completely different. I then realized why I was meh about all the dresses. They were all basically the same, variations on the same theme. I didn’t want a cookie cutter wedding but I had never contemplated something so bold and daring. I was sure FH would hate it. He LOVED it! He now wants a costume too.
Keep looking it will happen when you least expect it. Now wish me luck because I have to find a dress for our small family only winter wonderland wedding. It isn’t as much stress though now that I know I have HER to look forward to at our big wedding.

I haven’t even gone dress searching yet and I feel the exact same way. I’m normally a very indecisive person and normally stick with things that stand out the first time round…
In the past week or so I have probably browsed at more than 2000+ dresses online and have only about 4-5 that I’d consider wearing. I know I’d have to try them on to see what they look like but I’m pretty sure I will end up getting: ivory, strapless, defined empire waist that is tight around the hips and not too flare, fabric im looking for is either chiffon/lace…something simple yet elegant that would define my petite body well.
I hope you find the one. I seriously doubt any dress is going to make my jaw drop or make me cry, but if you feel comfortable in it and it’s a design you like, I say go for it. Every person will react differently when they find “THE” dress. I certainly won’t make a big fuss of it, I think I’ll just be really relieved.
