@MsNarwhal: Was the person who called you back the same person who turned you away? And were all the employees terribly rude, or was it just that one saleswoman? It could be that they may just have one witchy worker there, and the other people may be what you would expect sales people to be.

I would say that going back for your appointment still seems worthwhile if they have dresses or designs that you like at their shop. However, if I were in your shoes and I had a repeat experience at the shop after my appointment, I would both take my money elsewhere, and I would also give the manager a call explaining that I was treated rudely by employees and will not be giving them my business because of it. [And if I found my dream dress there at my appointment, I’d memorize the designer and style, and I’d go buy it from a store that treated me well!]

Sam Walton (Wal-Mart founder) hit the nail on the head when he said, There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.

If you could drive down to Fullerton, I recommend The Dresser.  My BFF and her sister both got their dresses there… excellent service!!!
