MemberI think generally if you try something on, look in the mirror, and LOVE it, then it probably looks good on you. And while both dresses look good on you, the A-Line looks very good. If I really love something, I generally don’t listen to one person saying “meh”. But I do get how your MOTHER insulting your favourite dress could get you doubting. But don’t listen to her, hehe.

As a mother of the bride I am sitting on my hands and not objecting to the brides ideas and opinions…..or her dress!

FTR I took no one with me when I dress shopped, I loved this because IRL no one else picks my wardrobe…so I didn’t want anyone picking the most important piece of clothing I will possibly ever wear, just my 2 cents 😉

MemberMemberoh your mom is soooooooo wrong!!! The second dress gives you a KILLER shape!! You are a perfect hour glass! I love ball gowns – extrememly partial to ball gowns – but I think the ball gown address way too much and overwhelms your body. The second dress is sleek, sexy, va va voom! annnnnd classy. Your body looks perfect proportioned in it!
