All my early baby weight went to my boobs, butt and thighs.  Sorry you’re having an ugh day, time for some cute skirts and the belly band.

YES! I’m only 11 weeks, but I feel like a hog, H-O-G! I was going to invest in an elliptical this January, but I might do it once the baby is born. I have GOT to lose the baby weight that is gonna come. I just hope it all goes to my belly!

I feel the same way! I’m at 8 weeks.. The sad thing is I wasn’t really watching my diet before I got pregnant and I was letting the winter weight pack on. (too much staying inside watching movies when it was cold) and now I feel disgusting and I feel like theres no way to feel good about my body.

@MsMamaBear:  Buy it now.  It might be some good motivation to see it there and to use it.  Nothing is stopping any of us from getting off of our rears and going to the gym or for a walk.  Although today looks like a rather nice day to take a nap…

Oh yes, I am very bloated. When they found the heart beat, it was wayyyyy down there… I’m thinking to myself, “Why am I so fat around the middle if everything is down there in the nether regions??” Does the bloating ever go away?

Second pregancy- and I think it comes on faster- like your body remembers or something.  I was feeling gross so I went out and bought a bunch of new maternity clothes today- hopefully that willmake me feel better.

omg i’m SOOOOOOOOOO bloated. at least, i hope its bloat and not actual fat. i’m only 8+5 and i already feel huge. none of my clothes are comfortable. living in sweatpants. yuck. i wish i would have a bump so then i’d feel pregnant and not just fat. i’ve been working out, but being exhausted all the time i’m definitely not doing as much….

I feel so horribly fat this week!  I’m 15 weeks and yesterday was the first time that people I know started saying “oh look you’re starting to get a little baby belly!” which is perfectly fine and very nice and well intentioned.  But it makes me think that people who I don’t know probably just think I have a really fat stomach.  I mean, yes, this stomach is big for me, but there are a lot of people out there who aren’t pregnant who have stomachs even bigger than mine!  I just want to get to the point where it is obvious that I’m pregnant.  Plus, I had a total breakdown when I got home from work tonight and all my huge comfy t-shirts that I like to lounge around in and wear to bed are all getting really tight and uncomfortable.  That was definitely the straw that broke the camel’s back.

The belly band is just this like spandex tube that you can put around your waist.  It allows you to leave pants/skirt a bit unbuttoned unzippered and holds them up and keeps them laying flat.  Works so much better than using a rubberband.  I got mine at target, I think it was called the BeBand.

@troubled: where did you find it at target?? i went to maternity section but couldn’t find anything other than just clothes. is it in lingerie? there was motherhood maternity store next to target and i went there but they only have  larger band type things for people 6 months along with large bumps….
