Start calling people.  I would have Fiance call his side to confirm, and you can call yours.  People just take a long time to respond, particulalry if they are out of town and having to see if they can afford to attend.

How far ago did you send them? Lots of people end up waiting till the last minute or miss the deadline so hopefully they all get in soon. If its really bothering you, I would start calling everyone you know like justelope suggested.

I’m dealing with a similar date to you 😉 and I just sent mind out about  2 weeks ago. What I have noticed is the people who are 100 % yes, mail them right away. Then the NO’s want to put it off, as not to be awkward till the wedding and the stragglers just arent sure do to finances and other circumstances.

Its ridiculous that people can just drop it in the mail, but there is always a huge psychological aspect involved or some sort of drama 🙂

Yea definitely call people like other bees have suggested…heck facebook them even! Email them! bug them anyway possible. I bet a bunch are planning on coming but just don’t feel RSVP is necessary. I know my family will fail to RSVP….argh.

You’ve gotta wait until at least Oct 11th and maybe even a day or two after and then start calling.  I’m sure you’ll get more RSVP’s back the week before.

Totally accepting to start calling after the date passes. Just be upbeat and “hey, I’m sorry to bug you, just trying to finish my head count, can we count you in? we’d love to see you there!”….it’s totally fine. My cousin did it….and I admit on more than one occasion I was too involved in my own stuff to remember to return that rsvp card on time…it happens, doesn’t mean they don’t want to be there or that it’s not important to them, people just tend to get wrapped up in their own business.
