So the subject line pretty much says it all! I’m feeling lonely and depressed today:( None of my friends are returning my phone and calls and I’m just here twittling my thumbs…I feel like everyone’s always so busy (which I usually am as well) I like to keep busy but lately have just been feeling depressed, Anyone else in this boat…how did u get out of this funk?!

I’m sorry! I feel the same way. It’s so hard for me right now because I don’t work so I get bored and lonely quite a bit. Is there any way you can get out and take a walk or something? Some exercise might help your mood.

@CrazyBee- Yep I’ve had those days…actually I think last Sunday was one of them. To get out of my funk I try to get some exercise to feel better about myself, then take a long hot bubble bath and read a book while I’m in there. Oh and I lit a aromatherapy candle too…and might have cried a bit, hey sometimes ya just gotta let it out. But I felt better!

I’m sorry!! I def feel like that too, and it’s not the easiest feeling to get rid of…Sometimes I email if no one’s answering my calls, that way people can respond at their convenience but I still feel like I’m communicating…

This happens to me all the time!!! I only work three days a week- 12 hour shifts. The rest of my family and friends all work 5 days a week. My fiance is deployed. So i have A LOT of time to myself. I hate it. I’m depressed A LOT. Glad to know that I’m not alone.

I’m a student, so that happens a lot to me too. Usually I just see what’s going on on the bee or on wedding blogs! Try to find something to occupy you, like cleaning or a DIY for the wedding or something!

You’re definitely not CB! I’ve been feeling “meh” all day for no good reason. I didn’t sleep weel last night, so that probably has something to do with it. But seriously haven’t been feeling very productive today, ugh.

Sorry! I go through those times too. It sucks! And its really hard to get out of! maybe go for a drive and get a cup of coffee. or walk down the street and window shop.

Ohh i have felt that way many of times… I’m unemployed and there aren’t alot of full time jobs around here right now so i’ve been pulling out my hair for the last couple of months. I’m starting Cosmentology school Feb 1st and thats 8-5 monday through friday so its basically a full time job. The way i deal with feeling loney is going for a walk, taking my dog for a walk, gym, clean house, clean my car, or search the internet for things i really want…. 🙂 I love making my bf happy and surprising him with stuff so i’ll make him a really nice dinner for when he gets home or get all prettied up and put on a nice outfit for when he gets home… he can always make me feel better when i’m lonely and none of my friends are around to cheer me up. Good lucky i hope you feel better!!:) Just try and do something for yourself or for you bf that always helps..

Been there myself. I have a small group of friends, who have work dictate much of their free time. They’re all in the wedding, but I feel guilty bothering them about all of my miscellaneous wedding details (which is bad, because lately I can’t make my mind up about ANYTHING). My family, who I love, are disinterested in details as well. They’ve never been the gushing type – even my mother who came with me to pick out my gown wasn’t the slightest bit gooey.
I had a minor breakdown over all this the other day, fortunately my fiancee has the patience of a saint, and was able to talk me down.
We all have days like that though. I usually indulge in something (cake batter, Pretty Woman, shopping, whatevs) and just let myself wallow in it for the day. Sometimes indulging your moodiness helps get over it quicker.
