@Astra I have never seen that dress but I love it. I wonder if I added a belt and an A line Crinoline under if it would give me the same shape as 5 without being as poofy. I will be looking for it this weekend. THANKS!

I agree with PPs that 4 and 5 are the best. Like others have said, even if you don’t pick the exact dress in #5, if you look for something in a similar shape.

I like 5 and if you want more coverage then you can add lace like the pic of Eckle

The A-line shape of 5 is soooo flattering. If you find a similar one you love you can always have them add cap sleeves or wear a lace bolero like this one: http://www.allurebridals.com/products/J16

dress 5 by far! It looks gorgeous on you!!! The silhouette on 1, 3, and 4 isnt very flattering (in my opinion).

I like the bottom of #5 (very flattering on you) but maybe with straps or sleeves like in #2?

If you right click on the image ‘search google for this image’ should be an option. This allows you to search google for the source of the image. You can also reverse google search using the image’s URL.
Also clicking reply on someone’s post automatically inserts their name and sends them a notification in case you didn’t know.

@llberu: How about a gown that has soft flowing sleeves, like this one (Your dress #5 would look nice with these):

@llberu: My vote’s for dress #3. Look at the back of you in the mirror! 😉 And that’s not in a dress that fits. I think most people picked #5 b/c that’s the one that fits best so OBVIOUSLY that’s gonna be the most flattering. But #3 in your size? I think it would be sublime, anddd you wouldn’t be sacrificing your style. I totally feel you, b/c I’m bigger too and I’m trying to find a lacy, elegant cap sleeve style too. The last thing I want is a poufy ball gown prom looking thing that’s strapless that looks exactly like every other plus size gown. It’s like, oh, you’re overweight? We have your dress pre-selected for you! Please. Haha, okay rant over 😛

@eckle You’re a genius. Thanks for the search tip. I wish I knew that months ago haha
@tlsine – you just made my night. Rant on! I can’t help but feel that if these pictures were all of me in the correct sizes the votes would be slightly different, but it’s so hard to say without seeing it. I plan to search for #3 in my size to try on so I can really get a better feel for the way the skirt fits before I rule it out.

I’ve learned all sorts of useful tech skills from the bee 😛 Heck, today I learned that Powerpoint 2013 has a much improved photoshop feature for removing picture backgrounds by sticking online wedding bands on a picture of my hand.

5 shows your curves without emphasizing your stomach – it’s possible some of that is from sizing, but I don’t think all of it is. #5 gives you a great shape. You can use the lace to make straps, although I agree with a PP that the straps draw attention to your arms.

#5 gives you the best shape out of the ones that you showed, but yes, it is hard because it is the only one that fits you, so of course it flatters you the most.
But I wouldnt buy something just because of that. You have to LOVE it. I am petite, so every told me I HAD to buy a fitted lace gown. I bought some big ol pouffy thing anyway, and I love it.
I though eckle had a great suggestion though. I combines the figure flattering curves of 5 but also gives you the lace and the arm cover!

@llberu: Dress #5 is AMAZING on you!!! You look so TINY!!! 🙂

I voted for 3- fit the vision you described. In the correct size, it would be gorgeous!
