Our wedding is October 3- 1 month to go. I feel like I can’t enjoy it because I have too much to do. I am doing theknot.com checklist, and we are fairly ok on that, but I feel so behind. We are “overdue” on wedding bands (although we aren’t getting engraved), honeymoon (we’re not picky, just want a beach with a direct flight so that should be ok), flowers (have a florist but still deciding my bouquet), and programs (priest wants to do the meeting about the ceremony 2 weeks out, so can’t do them yet, and one of my bridesmaids is doing mosts of it). Am I on track here? Just feeling like I am so far behind, I’ll never get finished, and the wedding will be a disaster.

Hug! Try not to stress too much. Also, try to find someone that could help with little things.

I think that you’re doing FINE…everything that you mentioned are all little things that can be wrapped up in NO time flat. Especially with some help from the wedding party. I know that it’s overwhelming right now…but try to stay calm and work on something each day. You’ll get there before you know it!

Yeah theknot’s checklist freaked me out and I just didn’t like the whole set up. Another bee (can’t remember who at the moment) sent me a checklist they made on Excel which I customized and it helped. I organized it how I wanted and gave my own deadlines to each thing. I highlighted things that I wanted to complete within 2 weeks of the current date. Then I just focused on those things mainly and it didn’t seem so daunting.
And literally up until like 2 weeks ago, I didn’t even have half my list done yet! I was so panicked. But I just kept going and focused on the things that I had to get done sooner and left the things that could wait out of my mind and eventually I conquered it.
