Honestly…I told my SO that I really didn’t care about having a wedding or not. That we could go to the court house and then to a honeymoon right after. Price tags and the attention of a wedding put me off, but he really wants us to have that day. With that said, we have discussed the possiblity of a nice outdoor wedding, that can look spectacular without braking our banks. So when I browse wedding sites, I’m looking for inspiration that I can add my own (inexpensive) touch to.
Also, DIY is so abundant now a days that I couldn’t see myself paying for half the things that weddings traditionally entail. But the few things I will splurge on are those that may be more important to us such as the cake, photographer and maybe the dress (i’m a designer so I flip flop between if I can make it, I won’t buy it lol).
