Go out with your Fiance, look him in the eye. If you know you love him and that for the rest of your life, he’s always going to be the one you love, your wedding is going to happen. Love finds a way. As for every day depression, I find playing up beat/dance music in my down time helps. A LOT! Also finding someone you TRUST to talk to, to spell out your anxieties and to talk out ways to combat it with self reassurence. =) Don’t give up yet. Never never give up!

@Jacqui90:  omg that and “build me up buttercup” are my go tos. you’re going to be just fine, poppet. ^_^ just remember to breathe. and make sure your Fiance knows what you’re going through. He sounds like he’s going to help you through it and you’re going to have your day.

What I do when I feel this way is to try and focus on the present moment and enjoy my life just as it is now.  The past is over and the future has yet to come so the only reality is NOW.  It’s hard to not project into the future when you have dreams and plans.  But don’t let that cause you to miss your own life.  There must be plenty of things and people surrounding you to be thankful for.  Get engaged with your own life . . .

@Jacqui90  I think that it’s important you realized that the way you are feeling may be due to depression and not just because it is the way it is. School and life are hard and stressful, trust me- I’m right there with you. But I suffer from depression and sometimes it gets so bad I can’t do much but completely zone out. This isn’t something to ignore. If you feel you have a problem, go see a professional. I am in a much better place than I was four years ago and it’s partially because of my medicine and a lot to do with realizing that depression is a lying b**tard.

I hope you take your own advice and I hope you feel better soon. It will pass eventually, I promise. And everything will come in time. ๐Ÿ™‚
