Why is this a thing? Has any one ever used it as their STD? Have they framed it and hung it on the wall? I’m betting no, becasue it makes no sense, but I’d love to hear if you did.
I’ve seen some super creative ones but 99% are just feet like:
Am I the only one who thinks these images are completly ridiculous and useless without the heads?

I think they are strange.. but I also think feet are gross!

They look like it was an accident. :/

The first one is cute. The 2nd one is just poorly executed. I don’t think they are meant to be framed…just enjoyed.

Awww, I kind of liked ours, LOL. I don’t think I have one necessarily FRAMED anywhere, but I think it’s stuck in an album somewhere. (We had some other below-the-neck ones, too, but not that were specifically feet.)

i think they can be cute. sometimes it’s nice to capture body language instead of being so focused on facial expressions.

I think they are cute. It leaves some mystery as to what is going on on the top part of the body. It’s interesting.
To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect when I opened this thread. The title made me think of strictly feet.

I don’t get the feet photography thing in general to be honest. Or the wedding day pics where peoples heads are cut off. I’ve told my photographer I do not want a photo of me and my bridesmaids holding our dresses up to show our feet. (or one of my dress hanging up on a curtain rod or something. These are my rules, lol)

Now.. I know Im (probably) alone in this… and I do NOT mean to knock other bees because to each their own (really) but…
I hate engagement photos! I do! Theyre just so twee and cheesy. Heres us frolicking “naturally” and having “candid” romantic eye gazing, heres our damn feet!, heres a chalkboard and homemade bunting spelling mr and mrs, heres us lounging on the grass (does anyone do that in life?) A public facebook album of 60 photos of you all forced-galavanting in love…. barf.
Its weird because Im a total wedding nerd and love really all parts of it… except engagement photos. For some reason. I dont know.

They can be kind of cute, but mostly they look like stock photos to me!

I think that they can be sort of intimate and sweet depending on how its taken. I don’t think most of them (that I have seen anyway) are actually focusing on feet, they just happened to be in the picture. Its more about the body language of the couple.
We didn’t do any though. I hadn’t thought about it one way or another and our photographer just didn’t take any.

Im still trying to understand all the head cut off pictures so many take…

@LovelyCoCoBee: lol. I agree that a lot are cheesy as all hell but I’ve seen a few that I was jelous of. I think mainly they are done to get that one good STD shot.
I did not do e-photos but I have lounged in the grass IRL

My photographer took a few. She told me its because she loves boots! It’s probably similar to taking a photo of the rings, or the bridal bouquet, or the table settings- to highlight some details that you might not pay attention to in other photos! That being said- I wouldn’t choose my “feet” photo to get framed or use in an STD or anything like that!
