The first one is cute. The 2nd one is just poorly executed. I don’t think they are meant to be framed…just enjoyed.

Awww, I kind of liked ours, LOL. I don’t think I have one necessarily FRAMED anywhere, but I think it’s stuck in an album somewhere. (We had some other below-the-neck ones, too, but not that were specifically feet.)

i think they can be cute. sometimes it’s nice to capture body language instead of being so focused on facial expressions.

I think they are cute. It leaves some mystery as to what is going on on the top part of the body. It’s interesting.

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect when I opened this thread. The title made me think of strictly feet.

I don’t get the feet photography thing in general to be honest. Or the wedding day pics where peoples heads are cut off. I’ve told my photographer I do not want a photo of me and my bridesmaids holding our dresses up to show our feet. (or one of my dress hanging up on a curtain rod or something. These are my rules, lol)

Now.. I know Im (probably) alone in this… and I do NOT mean to knock other bees because to each their own (really) but…

I hate engagement photos! I do! Theyre just so twee and cheesy. Heres us frolicking “naturally” and having “candid” romantic eye gazing, heres our damn feet!, heres a chalkboard and homemade bunting spelling mr and mrs, heres us lounging on the grass (does anyone do that in life?) A public facebook album of 60 photos of you all forced-galavanting in love…. barf.

Its weird because Im a total wedding nerd and love really all parts of it… except engagement photos. For some reason. I dont know.

They can be kind of cute, but mostly they look like stock photos to me!

I think that they can be sort of intimate and sweet depending on how its taken. I don’t think most of them (that I have seen anyway) are actually focusing on feet, they just happened to be in the picture. Its more about the body language of the couple.

We didn’t do any though. I hadn’t thought about it one way or another and our photographer just didn’t take any.

My photographer took a few.  She told me its because she loves boots!  It’s probably similar to taking a photo of the rings, or the bridal bouquet, or the table settings- to highlight some details that you might not pay attention to in other photos!  That being said- I wouldn’t choose my “feet” photo to get framed or use in an STD or anything like that!
