Our photographer took pictures of our feet 😉 He said it was because he loved our shoe choices and some mossy steps at our location so he kind of combined the two. I actually love the picture and it’s nice to have even though it’s kind of useless.

Both of our heads are in every one of our e-pics. Pictures of people’s heads cut off make me think someone made a mistake when they took the picture or got a bit crop happy in photoshop. If I’m paying a pro to take my pic I want them to capture my facial expression as that is where most of the easily interpreted emotion is.

I dont like the pictures of the couple holding hands and looking away. I dont get those. Or i dont like the ones where they cut off the bodies and show off the couples heads and the sky!

I actually know someone who used a foot shot in their Save-The-Date Cards.. It was a collage. One pic of them smiling, one if their dangling feet, and one of their hands on top of each others to show off the ring. 1/3 had their faces haha

I think it can be summarized from the responses that everyone has different tastes in what they like for photography.

Some people like art-sy photos, some don’t. To each their own.

@lauraashley09:  Agreed!

And I actually know a few people who have shots like that hanging on their walls. They’re the people who don’t want BAM in your face, look at our blown up kissing faces on display.. they’d rather something subtle, that looks more like an art piece than a photo of them 🙂 Art is subjective.

I think that first one is a cute picture, but I wouldnt send out a STD card or invitation with only a picture of my lower body on it.

The second one just doesnt look good at all.

@Atalanta:  Haha, I totally did this for both our engagement photos and on our wedding day. Both were not meant to ever be framed – engagement photo was our save the date, and wedding photo was just to show off my purple cowboy boots and my husbands matching socks 🙂

@lauraashley09:

I agree! The boots and flowers are cute :p .

The second one I find more random looking since there’s nothing to really look at except flip flops lol

I’ve seen quite a few e pics like that so I just assumed it was normal.

Maybe it depends on how good looking your feet are? lol. I took a picture of our legs and feet with the ring on engagement day because we were in a rowboat (FI, his daughter and I) and I couldn’t get us all in the pic while we were rowing on the river. So I took this pic below aiming to get all our legs and feet in the pic with the ring. This is actually one of my favourites too.

I did that because I LOVE MY SHOES! (not feet).

God damn I love my hot shoes.

I don’t get it either. Our photographer didn’t get any like that… Fine by me!
