rocky88 :  Don’t worry about it – reach out to her.  If you love her work, see if she has your date free.  Life happens.  People understand.  *hugs*

Just explain the situation and see if she’s available. If she acts rudely, then you don’t want her shooting your wedding anyhow. If shes just not available, then there’s others out there.

I agree with PP’s. If you love her work, reach out to her again. Give a brief explanation of what happened, and say you’d still love her to shoot your wedding if she’s available. Then the ball is in her court.

I agree, and work is work. If they want to get paid then I feel like people can be understanding. Things happen, and this probably wouldn’t be the first for them.

When I emailed my photographer, I told her I’d get married anytime between early 2018 and late 2020, and she laughed it off and just told me to email her when I had booked a venue. Trust me, they understand. 🙂

I would reach out to her and explain the situation and how busy you were and etc. I don’t think she would mind!
