As someone who had a very very specific ring in mind before ever even meeting my fiance I was soo thrilled when he advised he knew we did not discuss my preferred ring style so I could change the ring he selected to whatever I wanted. It sounds like you did discuss it and listened to her preference which is awesome!! I would just give her a day or two and let her know that if she wanted something a different style it wouldn’t offend you if she wanted to make some changes. I think it’s a beautiful ring but like something as personal as favorite color it will depend on the woman, and since this is not trivial and she has to wear it, I would just make sure she knows you are open to changing it if she wants.
Congrats!! Please come back and let us know how it goes!

I wouldn’t be offended at all. If she wants to change, it, upgrade it etc, I would say let’s go. She has to wear it everyday, not me.
I just did not want to pick it out with her beforehand. She gave me a few breadcrumbs to find my way.

Update….she said yes! Proposed last weekend in Central Park on the Bow Bridge.
From there we walked to 5th Ave to Tiffany and Co, where they had champagne waiting for us, and resized her ring to fit.
She did not see the proposal coming and was beyond thrilled. Then when I told her we were going to Tiffany’s to get it sized right, she stopped dead in her tracks and said, “what? this is a Tiffany?”
I had a few people on here say Tiffany’s was not worth it etc etc, and it had me worried. Let me just say, after the whole experience, quality etc, it 110% was.
But all of that is not important…she said yes, and we are both thrilled. I just thought I would post this, as I received a few messages telling me to reconsider the Tiffany ring

Congratulations!!! Sounds like a perfect proposal and experience, and how cool that you were able to go have it sized and drink champagne right away 🙂 I was a Tiffany’s naysayer but it sounds like you made the right choice and had a fantastic experience, and you are both ecstatic, which is all that matters. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
