Oh I’m an apple! I’ll play eventhough I probably over-post my dress atm. It’s a corset, so it keeps all my wobbly-apple parts in ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m an apple as well, but I loved my ballgown and thought that it flattered my figure!

weird_bunny:  I love love love your dress and may be partial to tulle wedding gowns, since mine is ๐Ÿ™‚  Can I ask where you got your sweater/shrug?  I’m gettting married in December and think that might be perfect with my dress when it gets cold.

MissBatman:  totally flattering!  Beautiful pic. I thought mine was flattering too.  Maybe not so much in the previous posted pic but I just went to my first fittling and it’s one of the first times I have felt truly beautiful and confident in my life!

I am also an apple shape and my stomach has always been my biggest issue. It is the first place I gain all my weight. I orginally had a pretty slinky dress but ended up feeling pretty gross about myself in it so I actually bought another dress after many weeks of agonizing dress regret. I went for something with a lot of structure and boning and diagnoal rouching at the waist to hide my stomach and suck me in.  It made me look a lot better than I actually do, haha!

Old dress: Woof!

megs102:  awww – thankyou! My shug was from monsoon, though any short shrug would look the same. I tried on a longer cardigan with it and it didn’t look right – as it hid where the waist nipped in.

tulle is the best!!

MrsBrew:  I tried many on and my belly is my biggest problem area and I really felt like a puff ball in ball gowns and unfortunately that’s what I was dead set on and I ended up in a fit and flare.. def try on many styles you never know what you may end up liking.  Also look at some of the post on here the dress on the model and on you pictures and theres another one the dress during the fitting and on your wedding day.. helps put things into perspective. .good luck

I’m a size 14-16 very apple shape. I carry all of my weight in my arms back chest and belly. The last David’s bridal dress you posted is VERY flattering. I’m having dress regret myself…and when my dress comes in my size….if it doesn’t look good I’m getting that dress off the rack. I’d post pics, but my mom has them on her phone ๐Ÿ™

Here’s mine.  Tried it on in ivory (pictured), but ordered it in white.
