@FutureMrsSlagle:  Definitely me! Though I’m not looking to get married until 2015, I would still like to see what other brides in the area are thinking. I’m not originally from here, either, so I won’t be too terribly useful 😛

I am getting married at Elements Events Center, its a little north of Cincinnati (in Sharonville).  I highly recommend them, as their customer service is amazing. Not sure if their prices have gone up since I booked but I found them to be very reasonable for the type of wedding you can get.  Their reviews on weddingwire.com are really good.  I would also check out A Brides Mafia.  It is a group of vendors in the cinci area so if you visit the website, you can find vendors for just about anything.  I found out about them when I booked at Elements because they are apart of that group.  It’s nice to have a list of vendor’s handed to you (not that you have to choose them, but it’s nice to have a place to start and not have to start from scratch in your research).  Also, you usually get discounts when you go through the brides mafia website.  Another place that I thought was really cool in the Cincinnati area was the Redmoor.  We had too many people to book there but I thought it was a really unique place.  Depends on your style but it’s a little more modern and I hear the food is amazing.  Good luck with the planning!

I got married a couple of years ago but would be happy to chat! I’m still pretty familiar with venues and vendors, and I’ve lived in Cincinnati my whole life. 🙂

I live in Cinci but am getting married in central KY. But I looked at Cinci in the begining. I really liked the Newport Aquarium as a reception site!

Yay for other Cincinnati brides! My FI are getting married in West Chester at Muhlhauser Barn. I’ve never been to a wedding at Ault Park, but the pictures I’ve seen look stunning! It seems like that’s be a great choice!

I am getting married in Cincinnati in a few months. I would be happy to chat! I had a friend get married at Ault Park a few years ago. It was beautiful!! I will have to ask her what the price includes, but for her wedding no one was just walking around. They had chairs set up for guest. So anyone walking around the park respectfully steered clear of the wedidng.  It was really all very nice!

@amandaleaou:  I used to live in the apartments right across the road from Muhlhauser Barn! It’s a beautiful venue. I drove past there many times seeing weddings going on and they looked fantastic.
