@sunshinewish15:  I voted 6-12 months. Could be longer knowing my SO. But I would LOVE it to be in October on holiday.

One month or less *fingers crossed* !!!

I know that he is taking to his parents this week, and buying the ring within the next couple of weeks! All I know for sure is that it will be before the end of the summer, but I’m pretty sure it will be by mid July πŸ™‚

I put 12-18 months to be optimistic, lol XD but could be more than that really. Must learn to stop talking about it! XD We’re in very preliminary stages of discussions but I just want to know /all/ the details!

@sunshinewish15:  Yes, we went on holiday as a group in 2010 but have never been abroad (just us two) in our 4 years together so it really will be special. And if I were him that’s when I would be thinking about doing it. Romantic setting already arranged (minimal effort on his part! ha) few days to enjoy being engaged before all our family wants to see us etc etc. Now….. time to start dropping some hints! πŸ˜‰

I said 3 to 6 months which OMG that is true now it is getting close! We’re getting engaged in November or December – sometime before Christmas – he’s going to try to surprise me with the day, though obviously I know it is coming as we have booked a venue and he’s having me pick out the ring. I’m still so super excited!

I voted 18-2 years + because that’s what SO keeps making it seem like.

We are looking at designing a ring next month, so it could be any time between July and December. I kind of want it to be at least cool, but I don’t want to wait!! Guess I’ll have to see what he decides to do Innocent

The plan is that it will be this summer so hopefully by August! It all depends on how long the ring takes to be made.

I voted 6-12 months. We only been dating just under a year, so it could be longer. But, SO wants to go look at rings this weekend, so it could be shorter. I know some bees have looked at rings a year or more ago, I’m trying not to get too excited.

It’ll be by the end of the year. We’ve picked out the ring. There’s also a chance he already has one, though I don’t know. We have been dating for 7 years. He asked me a month ago for my ring size and took me into a few jewelers. We’ve even picked out his wedding band. Knowing him like I do, and the conversations we have had in the last few months, it’s coming sooner rather than later. He’s not the type to casually take me ring shopping for one day in the future, and he wouldn’t buy a ring and hold onto it for months. I also don’t believe it will be a long engagement, since he has been equally interested in looking at wedding rings and included them in our budget.
