Oh man, I can imagine how torturous that was for you!  I’ve had work done on my e-ring that took 2 weeks before, and believe me, it was so awkward not having it on my finger.  Currently, I’m having work done on my wedding band (matching the shank to the shank of my e-ring), which I won’t get back until late next week, just in time for my wedding in 2 weeks!   I’m a bundle of nerves to see how my wedding band turns out.  The jeweler needed to reshank half of my wedding band so that it matches in thickness to my e-ring….I’m hoping I don’t see any signs that work was even done to my ring after it is all said and done.  So, I do feel your pain!!! Wish me luck 😎

Ohhh…and, post a picture of your e-ring now that you have her back!

Six weeks?! Mine was only gone for two weeks while it was being mounted in a new fancy band, and it was torture. I am very happy you have your ring back.

I didn’t even know there were two types of cushion cuts. Mine is cushion, but I can’t tell if it’s antique or modern.

Wow, that’s SO long! I have to get my ring fixed (I bent the split shank part of my ring doing laundry :/ ) and I am waiting until after the wedding to do it because I just can’t risk not getting it back on time for the wedding.

And YES I can totally understand why you would want to antique cushion…it’s gorgeous!!

Wow that’s a long time, but oh my gosh! What a beautiful cut! Definitely worth the wait 😉

@MissNoodles: Oh there is definitely a difference in rings. Glad you got it back!
